Musings and A Review:

Hello hello! Sorry for the very dreary last post. Its time for me to move on. Lolo would've wanted that.

I've found a project idea for English (and maybe even Creative Writing 12 credit if I tried too).

First off, my brother gave me an interesting novel for my 18th birthday. (well, gave me the idea to read it).

The Book With No Name by Anonymous.

First off, the publishers that made it were LionYard and Momsbooks. (just in case you have no idea who published the book--I mean, its a book with no author OR chapter list OR anything else within it. Just the story and its gruesome plot with it.)

Anyways, the back cover is, as follows:

Whatever you do, DON'T read The Book With No Name.

An untitled book by an anonymous author brings death to anyone who reads it.

'The Eye of the Moon'--a mysterious blue stone--has gone missing.

And in Santa Mondega, all hell is about to break loose. Literally.

First thoughts for this novel--Oh. My.

IT SOUNDS LIKE A NO MORE HEROES NOVELIZATION :D

Just reading the town's name--Santa Mondega--it gave me a hint that this book had modern western themes and blood references. Which--it does, and much more.

I'll just write the warning here:

Contains a LOT of crude language, heavy alcohol usage, sexual situations, and... oh JEEZ. It reminds me a lot about a Tarantino film, with its exclusive blood and gore.

I was fooled when I first saw the cover. Its NOT a children's book.

.... Which gave me the cruel idea to read the first chapter for my auditory portion of my next English project. Heehee.

I'm going to start writing a reading journal here about The Book With No Name. Yay Yay YAAAAY. Gore.
